Our Silver DofE Expedition took place in the Yorkshire Dales, our aim was "Investigate the impact of tourism (Especially Expeditions) on the Dales Environment & Community". We had to complete an environmental impact assessment of our Expedition.
For our 1st Diamond ICV activity we chose to run 4 nights at Cubs for their International Badge
With the expedition complete, each member of the 51-strong team can proudly say that they've made a huge difference to the lives of many in the village of Mto Wa Mbu through the expansion of the St. Jude Catholic Mission's nursery school into a primary school.
For my Chief Scout Diamond Award I have run 4 nights with beavers helping them to achieve two badges, the International Badge and the My World Challenge Award.
